IPTV Reseller tiers When to Move Up

📅 Last reviewed: November 2026 ⏱️ 10 min read 📈 Growth Guide ✍️ Brad H. Gourley — IPTV Reseller Store
Packages vs Tiers · 2026

Should you buy one package and top it up, or move up through larger tiers as you grow? The math, the signals that it’s time to step up, and the tier terms to check before you do.

IPTV reseller tiers are the package sizes a provider offers, usually from a small starter bundle to a large one with a lower cost per credit. Every reseller faces the same choice as they grow: keep buying the package you started with, or move up to a larger tier. Move up too early and your cash sits in unused credits. Move up too late and you keep paying more per customer than you need to. This guide compares single packages with scalable IPTV reseller tiers, shows when stepping up actually saves money, and lists the tier terms to check first.

Quick Answer: Package or Scalable Tier?

Start with the smallest package you can sell, and move up a tier when two things are true: you’re topping up often, and you’re confident you’ll use the larger balance. With our IPTV reseller tiers, buying a bigger tier is always cheaper than buying the same number of credits in smaller packages, for example 240 credits cost $500 as one Growth package versus $600 as two Starter packages. Because our unused credits never expire, the main risk of moving up is cash tied up in stock, not lost credits.

Key takeaways

  • A bigger tier only saves money if you actually use the credits.
  • Measure your monthly credit use, then pick the tier that lasts you a sensible number of months.
  • With us, every tier includes the same panel access, guides and support; only the volume and price change.
  • Be wary of providers that tie stream quality or basic features to higher tiers.

Packages vs Scalable Tiers: The Difference

The two terms are often used as if they mean the same thing, but they describe different ways of buying:

How it worksYou top up with the same package each timeYou step up to a larger package as demand grows

On some panels, higher IPTV reseller tiers also unlock extra features, such as an account manager, API access or white-label options. On ours, they don’t: every tier includes the same reseller panel access, all our guides, Priority Support by 24/7 live chat and email, and no setup fees. You’re choosing volume and price, not a different product.

Our IPTV Reseller Tiers at a Glance

On our panel, 1 credit activates one month for one customer, so a 12-month customer uses 12 credits.

The Upgrade Math: Is a Bigger Tier Worth It?

The fair test is simple: compare the cost of the same number of credits bought as one larger tier, or as several smaller packages.

Same credits, different ways to buy them
Credits neededSmaller packagesOne larger tierYou save
2402 × Starter = $600Growth = $500$100
3603 × Starter = $900
Growth + Starter = $800
Scale = $700$100–$200
6005 × Starter = $1,500
Scale + Growth = $1,200
Business = $1,150$50–$350
1,20010 × Starter = $3,000
2 × Business = $2,300
Pro = $2,250$50–$750

The biggest single saving comes from the first step, Starter to Growth, where the cost per credit drops from $2.50 to $2.08. After that, savings per credit get smaller: Scale, Business and Pro are within 6 cents of each other. In practice, the jump from Starter to Growth matters most; the higher IPTV reseller tiers are mainly about convenience and fewer orders.

Not every provider’s tiers work this way. On one public price list we reviewed, the 500-credit package cost more per credit than the 200-credit package, so bigger wasn’t cheaper. Always calculate the unit price per tier yourself.

5 Signals It’s Time to Move Up a Tier

1

You top up more than once a month

If you’ve bought the same package twice in a short period, the next tier would have given you the same credits for less.

2

Your monthly credit use is steady

Three months of similar sales tells you more than one good week. Move up on a pattern, not a spike.

3

Renewals make up a growing share of sales

Renewing customers are the most predictable credit use you have. When they make up a solid share of your monthly activations, a larger balance is lower risk.

4

You’ve nearly run out at a busy time

Keeping a customer waiting for activation because you’re topping up costs you more than the price difference between tiers.

5

Your support routine can handle more customers

A bigger tier means more customers to support. If your records, renewal reminders and support are already stretched, fix those first. Our IPTV reseller admin controls guide covers a weekly routine.

How Long Will Each Tier Last You?

Work out your monthly credit use: add up the credits your activations and renewals use in a typical month. Then divide each tier’s credits by that number. This is your “runway” in months.

Months each tier lasts at different monthly credit use
Monthly credit useStarter (120)Growth (240)Scale (360)Business (600)Pro (1,200)
30 credits48122040
60 credits2461020
120 credits123510
240 credits0.511.52.55

A practical rule: choose the largest tier that you’d use up within a period you’re comfortable having your cash tied up, for many resellers somewhere between two and six months. For example, if you use about 60 credits a month, Growth (4 months) or Scale (6 months) fits better than Pro (20 months).

The Risks of Moving Up Too Early

  • Cash tied up in stock. Credits are prepaid inventory. Money in unused credits isn’t available for marketing or other costs; think of it as working capital you’ve committed.
  • Limited refunds. With us, you can request a full refund within 3 days of activation if no credits have been used. Once any credit is used, change-of-mind refunds aren’t available, including for the remaining balance. Read the refund policy before buying a larger tier.
  • Demand that doesn’t arrive. A forecast isn’t a customer. Move up on real sales, not expected ones.
  • Expiring credits elsewhere. If a provider’s credits expire, a larger tier can mean losing what you don’t sell in time. Ours never expire, but check this with any provider.

Tier Terms to Check With Any Provider

Before you move up any provider’s IPTV reseller tiers, get answers to these in writing:

  1. Is the cost per credit actually lower on the larger tier?
  2. Do credits expire, and does that change by tier?
  3. Do features or stream quality change by tier? If lower tiers get worse quality, your customers on those tiers get a worse service.
  4. Can you combine balances from different packages in one panel?
  5. What is the refund rule for a larger tier, and does using one credit end it?
  6. Is the content you’ll resell properly licensed? A bigger tier doesn’t change the rights question; in the US, the Protecting Lawful Streaming Act applies whatever your volume.

FAQ

What are IPTV reseller tiers?

IPTV reseller tiers are the package sizes a provider sells, from a small starter bundle to a large one. Larger tiers usually have a lower cost per credit. Ours run from 120 credits for $300 to 1,200 credits for $2,250.

Is it better to buy one big tier or several small packages?

One larger tier is cheaper for the same credits, for example $500 for 240 credits as Growth versus $600 as two Starters. But it only saves money if you’ll use the credits, so match the tier to your monthly credit use.

When should I move up from the Starter tier?

When you’re topping up more than once a month and your sales have been steady for a few months. The Starter-to-Growth step gives the biggest drop in cost per credit, from $2.50 to $2.08.

Do higher tiers include extra features?

Not with us. Every tier includes the same reseller panel access, all our guides, Priority Support by 24/7 live chat and email, and no setup fees. Some other providers do tie features to tiers, so ask before you compare.

Do unused credits carry over if I buy another tier?

Our unused credits never expire, so the credits from each package stay available until you use them. Ask us by email how balances from different packages appear in your panel.

Can I get a refund if a bigger tier was too much?

With us, you can request a full refund within 3 days of activation if no credits have been used. Once any credit has been used, change-of-mind refunds aren’t available. See our refund policy for full terms.
